Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl is Director-General of DIGITALEUROPE, the leading digital technology industry association representing over 35,000 digital companies in Europe.
She is a member of the Stakeholder Cybersecurity Certification Group of ENISA (the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) and of NATO’s high-level Advisory Group for Emerging and Disruptive Technologies, as well as a board member of the European Commission’s Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition and the European Parliament-led European Internet Forum.
Formerly, Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl was a member of the European Commission’s High Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence, and of the High-level Strategy Group on Industrial Technologies in charge of identifying Key Enabling Technologies.

Peter Weckesser is the Chief Digital Officer of Schneider Electric and a member of the Executive Committee since June 2020, when he joined the company.
Prior to working at Schneider, Peter served as the Digital Transformation Officer of Airbus’ Defence & Space division since 2017. Before joining Airbus, Peter had extensive experience as a Senior Executive at Siemens, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of Siemens’ Product Lifecycle Management, leading the IoT and Digital Enterprise business and activities. He also held other executive-level positions with Siemens such as the CEO of Industry Services and CEO of Value Services.
Peter’s career began at Siemens where he worked in various roles in product management and development, including Director of Business Development in the United States. Liisa-Ly Pakosta graduated from the University of Tartu in 1993 with a degree in history and from Tallinn University in 2021 with a master’s degree in law. She has started her doctoral studies in law at the University of Tartu in 2022.

Florika Fink-Hooijer has been the director general of the environment department of the European Commission since 2020. In her current role, she is responsible for implementing the European Green Deal objectives, particularly in the areas of circular economy, biodiversity and zero pollution. She joined the European Commission in 1990 and has held various high level and medio level management positions in the fields of external and security policy, humanitarian aid, disaster risk reduction and environmental protection, in (DG) RELEX (the predecessor of the European External Action Service) and DG for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations, among others. Prior to joining the European Commission, she worked at the law firms such as Nordemann, Vinck & Hertin in Berlin, and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek in The Hague. Fink-Hooijer studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität Bonn, and the Université de Lausanne before completing a master’s degree in International and Comparative Law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Later, she completed a PhD in copyright at the Free University of Berlin with a dissertation about the immediate termination in copyright contract law.

Born in A Coruña (Galicia-Spain) in 1972, he studied nursing at the University of Santiago de Compostela, working in 061 -Emergency service- and as a specialist teacher in life support, where he is the author of the Manual of advanced life support in pre-hospital emergencies (2007) among other health publications.
In parallel, Gonzalez Casares has developed his political career at the local level, becoming first deputy mayor and councillor for Urbanism, Social Services, Health and Sport during the previous legislature in Lalín, a village in the heart of Galicia.
After the elections to the European Parliament in May 2019, he became an MEP for the PSOE. In the European Parliament, he is a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy – ITRE, where he is the spokesperson for the Spanish Socialist Delegation for Energy -, the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee (ENVI) and the Committee on Fisheries (PECH).
González Casares has been the Socialist rapporteur in ITRE for the Regulation (EU) 2021/1119 of 30 June 2021 establishing the framework for achieving climate neutrality and amending Regulations (EC) No 401/2009 and (EU) 2018/1999 (‘European Climate Law’).
Within the Fit for 55 package, he’s the Socialist rapporteur for the proposal to revise the Renewable Energy Directive (including the REPowerEU proposal on permitting), and ENVI’s rapporteur for the Proposal for a regulation on ensuring a level playing field for sustainable air transport (ReFuelEU Aviation). He was the Parliament’s rapporteur for the reform of the design of the electricity market.

Clare Biddle joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the Water Lead for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021 where she heads up the water infrastructure team. She brings her engineering and chemical knowledge, her business head and her passions for improved water management and stewardship to her role at AWS.
Within her 25-year career within the water and wastewater sector, Clare has delivered water infrastructure (industrial and domestic) solutions across Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe. Minna Helle has been the CEO of Technology Industries of Finland (TIF) since November 2024. Technology Industries of Finland represents Finland’s largest industrial sector, with its industries accounting for slightly over half of the country’s exports.
Ms. Helle has been working at TIF since 2018 and has previously held multiple key responsibilities within the organization, including labor markets, skills development, innovation policy, as well as SME and entrepreneurship affairs.
Helle has had a long and distinguished career in Finnish societal affairs, lobbying, and high-stakes negotiations. She graduated as a lawyer in 1997 and began her career at the Union of Journalists in Finland and Akava (Confederation of Unions for Professional and Managerial Staff). She later held leadership positions in several labor market organizations before becoming Finland’s first female National Conciliator. In recognition of her pioneering work in communication, she was awarded the Communicator of the Year prize in 2017.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. Joseph’s University and a law degree from Columbia University. She served as a Senior Visiting Fellow at TERI in New Delhi, India, and has received awards and recognitions, including honorary doctorates from Muhlenberg University, Dickinson College, and Clarion State University.

Between 2014 and 2018 she was Director for DG TRADE Directorate D “Sustainable Development; Economic Partnership Agreements – African, Caribbean and Pacific; Agri-food and Fisheries”. Sandra Gallina was also the EU chief negotiator for the EU-MERCOSUR Free Trade Agreement. Between 2001 and 2009 she was the EU Lead Negotiator for Non-Agricultural Market Access in the WTO Doha Round and in that capacity, she defined and presented EU policy for the Doha Development Agenda on non-agricultural market access negotiations. Nanna–Louise Wildfang Linde is Microsoft’s Vice President of European Government Affairs with responsibility for Microsoft’s government affairs and public policy work across Europe since September2022. Nanna–Louise leads a team of government affairs professionals tasked with strengthening Microsoft’s external relations with the EU institutions and governments across Europe and ensuring the company is a constructive partner in supporting policy makers in Europe achieve their goals and adapt smart legislation.
A competition lawyer by training, Nanna–Louise brings with her almost two decades of experience at Microsoft. Most recently, she has been leading Microsoft’s Corporate External & Legal Affairs team in32 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, responsible for legal matters and relations with governments and other authorities. Prior to that, she was leading Government Affairs for Microsoft in Western Europe. Formerly, Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl was a member of the European Commission’s High Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence, and of the High-level Strategy Group on Industrial Technologies in charge of identifying Key Enabling Technologies.

Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl has more than 25 years of experience in the ICT industry. Valdis Dombrovskis is European Commissioner for Economy and Productivity; Implementation and Simplification. Previous to this, he served as the Executive Vice President of the European Commission for An Economy that Works for People.
Prior he has served three consecutive terms as Prime Minister of Latvia, becoming the longest serving elected head of government in Latvia’s history.
Before becoming Vice-President, Valdis Dombrovskis was elected for the second time as a Member of the European Parliament (first, 2004-2009) and Head of Latvian Delegation in the EPP Group.
He served as a Member of the Saeima (Parliament) of Latvia (03.2004-06.2004; 01.2014-06.2014) and was Latvia’s Minister of Finance from 2002 to 2004.
Valdis Dombrovskis was born on 5 August 1971 in Riga, Latvia. He graduated with a degree in physics from the University of Latvia (1993) and economics from Riga University of Technology (1995). He received his master’s degree in physics in 1995 from the University of Latvia. In 1995 -1998 he worked as a research assistant at the Mainz University, Germany, the Institute of Solid-State Physics, Latvia and the University of Maryland (USA).
Prior to joining politics, he worked as a senior economist and chief economist at the Bank of Latvia (1998-2002). He is a co-author of book with Anders Aslund „How Latvia came through the financial crisis” which was published in 2011.
In November 2014 Valdis Dombrovskis was awarded by the Order of the Three Stars (Triju Zvaigžņu ordenis), the highest State Decoration of the Republic of Latvia.

Peter Weckesser is the Chief Digital Officer of Schneider Electric and a member of the Executive Committee since June 2020, when he joined the company.
Prior to working at Schneider, Peter served as the Digital Transformation Officer of Airbus’ Defence & Space division since 2017. Before joining Airbus, Peter had extensive experience as a Senior Executive at Siemens, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of Siemens’ Product Lifecycle Management, leading the IoT and Digital Enterprise business and activities. He also held other executive-level positions with Siemens such as the CEO of Industry Services and CEO of Value Services.
Peter’s career began at Siemens where he worked in various roles in product management and development, including Director of Business Development in the United States. He holds a degree in physics as well as a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. He currently resides in Germany.

Alberto Di Felice is Policy and Legal Counsel at DIGITALEUROPE.
He works across policy teams to forecast and analyse new legislation. He has a particular focus on priority files, and is in charge of ensuring quality across all of the association’s policy deliverables and thought leadership. In addition, he supports the projects team to strengthen synergies between policy and projects workstreams. Alberto also acts as DIGITALEUROPE’s data protection and antitrust compliance officer.
Prior to this position, Alberto headed the association’s work on cybersecurity, AI, data policy and privacy, telecoms, and consumer policy. Alberto joined DIGITALEUROPE in February 2018, having previously spent seven years at Qualcomm, a world leader in mobile technologies. His work there cut across EU technology policy areas such as privacy, telecoms regulation and the impact of digital on innovation and business models, including verticals such as connected cars and mobile health.
Alberto is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E). He holds degrees in law and European studies from the universities of Teramo and Trento in Italy as well as a masters in diplomacy from the Institute for International Political Studies in Milan.

Marc Vancoppenolle is leading the Policy and Government Affairs EU & Europe function at Nokia.

Marc has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunication industry. He joined Alcatel in 1991, and then Alcatel-Lucent, where he took various international and worldwide Technical, Commercial, Marketing, Communication and Government Affairs leadership roles based in Belgium and in France. He holds a Master of Science, with a specialization in Telecommunication from the University of Leuven complemented with marketing studies from the University of Antwerp.
He is advisor to FITCE Belgium (Forum for ICT & Media professionals) and Associate to Nokia’s CEO at the ERT (European Round Table for Industry). Michał Kobosko has been studying at the Warsaw Technical University, the American Study Center at the Warsaw University. Graduated from the SWPS University in Warsaw (Management and Leadership studies). Gained his professional journalist experience in the early 1990s while working for “Gazeta Wyborcza”. Later a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of “Puls Biznesu” (Bonnier Business Press). In 2004 he joined Axel Springer group. He worked there as a Editor-in-Chief of a newly introduced Polish edition of “Forbes”. For three years he acted as Editor-in-Chief of “Newsweek Polska”. In 2009 he was responsible for an editorial merger of “Dziennik. Polska-Europa-Świat” with “Gazeta Prawna”. He became a first Editor-in-Chief of the “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”. In 2011 he joined Platforma Mediowa Point-Group, where he was responsible for negotiations with Bloomberg L.P. resulting with a launch of “Bloomberg Businessweek Polska”. Later he became the editor-in-chief of WPROST newsweekly, a position he held until January 2013. Since then Kobosko has been involved in a large number of new projects, including a Polish edition of Project Syndicate, where he was an editor until late 2016. Starting October 2013 he became a Director of Poland Office at the Atlantic Council (www.acus.org), where he served as the Senior Advisor. He was a member of the board of the Junior Achievement Foundation and the Leopolis for Future Foundation. Joined the 2020 presidential campaign of Szymon Holownia, an independent and non-partisan candidate. Together with Holownia Kobosko started forming a new political movement of Poland, called Polska 2050.
